1)My story idea is to examine the effect of technology on love and romance, specifically focusing on our generation vs. the older generations.

2)I think my story will show how technology has evolved romance. I am trying to answer if the way the younger generations show love is different from older generations (pre-computer technology). If so, how much and what values are gone and what values have stayed. I think it is appropriate for the audience because it is profiling how their generation's technology-savvy has changed love and romance.

3)A multimedia slide show will be a good way to show the visuals of how our generation shows love and affection. The slides will allow the viewer to see the comparative aspect of the story as well as people using technology instead of the traditional ways. I plan to gather pictures of the old ways of romance and the new ways, for example students using Facebook, Skype. I also want to gather information on the new technologies that facilitate the biggest lovefest of all---Valentine's Day. I think the narration should be a chronological history of how technology has been introduced into romance. Ideally, the text would be minimal, maybe showing names and the names of innovations, so that the viewer can pay attention to narration.
